Well, I got a call today from ABC Channel 7 news. I figured it had something to do with my 7 on Your Side interview a few months ago, but it wasn't....they wanted to interview me about a post I did on Craigslist! I put up a trade post looking for Easter Egg Roll tickets for a photo session. They were looking for people to interview about how hard it was to get the tickets yesterday and the measures they were resorting to in order to snag them from someone else. They gave me less than an hour to get my house completely clean and myself tv presentable....and I didn't get my house or myself as polished as I would have liked for a tv interview (ahhh!! I hadn't even showered and there was garbage bags at the front door!!).
I called Laura right away and she came down to be interviewed too, we had sooo much fun having our little tv adventure together. She was so much more calm and collected than I was (but she always is, so I wasn't surprised). They said it will probably air tonight at 5 or 5:30pm.

why is it that every time you are on tv i can't ever get the video to load right? i can't believe how much you've been on tv lately...you news making girl, you. that is awesome. maybe someone will send you tickets after seeing your story.

It figures...everyone else gets to see your video but when I click on it the dang thing doesn't work...I'll keep trying. I bet you were hot. Maybe Obama will listen and take a hint from a couple cute moms...okay, who am I kidding, Obama hates us. But at least you got to be on TV! :-)

Sadly, we didn't get tickets. We actually had 2 kid tickets offered to us, but without an adult ticket then I couldn't get in. : (
