The Post You've Been Waiting For....

So I'm sure that tons of people just go to bed wondering, "Whyyyy?!?! Wwwwhhyyy?!??! Doesn't Andrea post on her blog anymore???" Well I was feeling really sick my 1st trimester, and then my back started hurting a lot especially when sitting...so I began slacking on the blog.

Hatcher graduated this weekend!!! I am so proud of my man. I can't believe he did it. I actually started tearing up during the graduation march, and hearing all the different "as a doctor you can save the world" speeches. We've had his family in town for about a week, and his mom is still here for a few more days...we've been having a blast! I downloaded his sister's pictures that she took from the trip and am sharing those with you.

Disclaimer: I once got totally slammed by a pro photographer that couldn't believe I would post point & shoot pics on my family blog, and ever since then I try to put good quality stuff that even clients could look at. All these pictures are point & shoot shots, straight out of camera! Someday I will post a good quality picture post again, I swear!

First....here's 2 pics that I found on Whitney's camera that I love and I never shared!

Utah in December

At the BEAUTIFUL wedding of Micheal & Kathryn in Utah in March...I was sooo 1st trimester sick that day....but I still enjoyed every minute of the wedding

Last week we took Whitney to a Nationals game as part of Hatcher's Senior Week

Chick has been to a lot of major league baseball games...but this was Whitney's first! P.S. How do you like Chick's smile without her front tooth?

On Friday we went to the Jefferson to have a kabob picnic with friends

Hatcher's big day (Sunday)!!!! I love this candid shot Whitney caught...it was a very happy day. : )

Georgetown had a fancy outdoor reception after the ceremony....this was no BYU brownie party....we had shrimp, kabobs, incredible cheeses (the baby's favorite), and cake, cake, and more cake. I would have felt guilty for eating 3 plates of food, but that med school debt total kept popping in my head and I loaded up another plate.

Hatcher's grandparents, parents, and 2 of his siblings came out for the big day. This was our little graduation day party we threw for him.

I made his favorites....peanut butter cookies AND (drum roll please) Sweet German Chocolate cake FROM SCRATCH! Omigosh, I didn't think I'd be able to tell the difference from the mix but it was incredible!

He took his dad and his brother on the bike ride all the way to Mt. Vernon, there and back is about 3 hours on bike!

Whitney requested Red Mango frozen yogurt....AHHH!! It's SO good!!!

The three triplets going on another bike ride to see the monuments.

Hatcher's senior ball night. I have been aniticpating this night for 4 years....hoping I wouldn't be pregnant or closely post pregnant so I could totally rock a senior ball dress. Well, 5 months pregnant and rocking a very stretchy dress from Ross (Calvin Clein $30!) that I loved. I still felt beautiful!

The Air & Space Museum...my favorite!

The picture from my 20 week ultrasound!!! IT'S A GIRL! (Yes, we are thrilled) It's so fun talking to Chick about it...she keeps telling me about all the fun things she is going to do with her sister. I can't wait to meet this new angel! She's measuring right on time, due to come October 12th.

Our two kids will be almost exactly 4 years apart. So in Chick's pregnancy my birthday landed on my 5 month mark (left), and in this pregnancy it landed on my 4 month mark (right). I had to hunt down pregnancy pictures to compare how I'm looking this time around. I'm happy with the difference.

What I wish I had known the 1st time: Shade t-shirts don't fit every pregnant woman's body type, show off your pregnant tummy with a complete side profile...don't go halfway!...and hold your tummy to make it look defined! Oh yea, something else I learned after Chick's pregnancy...don't eat Hot Pockets everyday your 1st trimester.

P.S. I had the BEST bday ever this year. Hatcher (with lots of help from Ashley & other friends) threw me an AMAZING surprise party. I totally started tearing up when I realized everyone was there for me....it was the best party ever. And Hatcher also got me Shape-up tennis shoes!!! It was the PERFECT gift.

In 2006, while I was pregnant, Hatcher graduated with his undergraduate degree from the BYU Management program. I was 4 months pregnant on the left, and on the right I'm 5 months pregnant on the right.

Things I wish I had known the 1st time around: put your weight on your back foot, stick your chin out to avoid the double chin effect, and don't let your husband squish your growing arm close to your body. Oh yea, and low fat Hot Pockets are still bad for you! They are not a healthy option.

Andrea, You are so funny! Loved the pregnancy comments. PS, you don't even look pregnant. In fact, I want to throw up because you look so not pregnant and I am massively pregnant! And you look so beautiful and I feel huge and not beautiful! (Gotta love being 9 months pregnant!) Congrats to Dan on graduating! That is so awesome! And Happy Birthday! Sorry I didn't call; I've been so busy with potty training and getting ready for the baby! Love you!

What a fun and exciting time of life for you guys. So many new things happening. Looks like you are having lots of fun with the fam. And wow, you really do look gorgeous. Hopefully I will look better my second pregnancy too. I am kind of large Marge, but I'm just happy to have a healthy growing baby inside (and sugar any time of day. Oops!)Congrats on the baby girl!! That will be so fun for Vanessa to have a sister.

You look great! It must feel great to have him done! And another girl! Come on! Pass some my way!! :) I didn't know you ate hot pockets every day at work! We did go out to eat sometimes. Those were good times. Taking an hour and a half for lunch. I remember when eating half of a flintstone vitamin was a feat for you! You look amazing! PS: Nov. 12th for us! :)

Congratulations you two! I say you "two" because I think the whole medical school thing is almost as difficult for the wife! The pictures are great. It looked like you had a fabulous time. Oh and another little girl is so fun. I am thrilled for you. Someday maybe we'll have all our little girls together!

You are hot! No more fat and pregnant sympathy from me! :-)

Someday soon, when Nona isn't fussy, I must call and hear the excitement in your voice! As always your voice was playing in my head as I read your post, but it's not the same...

I told you we were meant to be together...moms of two girls, how perfect :-)

congrats on all the accomplishments, I miss you!

PS Sorry again about the tragic month of May...I swear you'll get a call on your birthday next year. I'm going to get a tattoo on my pointer finger that says May 15th so every time I dial a phone I remember this year's tragedy...

We're going to miss you and we'll definitely have to visit Hershey. :) I don't know if we'll be able to make it to your farewell party because we're moving to a new apt in Crystal City that day and we have an engagement shoot that night, but we'll do our best!!
