What's the best day of the year besides Christmas?!?!! GEORGETOWN DAY!!!! What's the 2nd best day after Georgetown Day?! The day before Thanksgiving when Georgetown does their Thanksgiving Feast! We didn't know it before we came to Georgetown, but these two days are the most important reasons to be Georgetown students. Without them, all these hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt just wouldn't be worth it.
Georgetown Day = free burgers, free slush drinks, free hot dogs, free massages, free frisbees, key chains, free pencils, free highlighters, free bounce houses, free musical entertainment, free soda, free "taste of Jerusalem food" (my personal favorite).
Every year it's always one of my first sunburns of the year. I got my first ticket at a Georgetown Day ($100 parking ticket). There's just lots of good memories. This year we went with fellow Hoyas Whitney & Valerie (we are all Hoyas by marriage). It was SO FUN! We stayed for hours and hours. Chick loved it.
We tried to go to the free breakfast but it was all eaten by the time we got there!
We were hanging out in the Jerusalem tent. It was nice and shaded and I LOVED that food!! Who knew? Thanks Whitney for snapping these photos!

Definitely a highlight, Chick was supposed to get her face painted but decided she wanted it on her arm. I'm just glad she didn't ask for a huge tramp stamp like the undergrad in front of her did.
As you can imagine, she stared at that mermaid for hours ; )

This was the BEST day EEVVEERR!! I'm already excited for next year. It's so great that you know all the little tricks around town. Next time I'm taking 6 cokes!!!

This time last year, I was with you! That is such a great event. I'm so jealous of Whitney :-) I'm glad you guys went and enjoyed it though! All the pictures are fabulous, as always.

Ummm...I'll make you something (I'd really love to!)...you just have to take pretty pictures and send them to people. You could send pictures of cherry blossoms and other DC-esk things...what about blank scrapbook pages for people to fill in, you've said you want to get back into scrapbooking...you've got plenty of things to offer my friend!
