What will be HATCHING in a few months?

I am very excited to announce some VERY big news.......I AM PREGNANT!!! We are thrilled, excited, amazed, grateful, blessed, thrilled, happy, ecstatic, grateful, happy, and HAPPY to be blessed with another baby on the way. ; ) ; ) Chick is SO excited to have a little sister or brother (although, she definitely is biased towards another girl). She keeps telling me that my belly is getting bigger everyday (which it is). She keeps reminding me that babies don't play with Barbies, but she'll take out her "baby toys" when her little sister (which she has named Tina) arrives.

The reason I stayed in Utah for the entire winter was we were working with a fertility clinic. We are so incredibly blessed that the months of medications, procedures, and injections all worked! Our embryo was outside my tummy for FIVE days while they watched to see if it was strong enough for implanting. The embryologist gave me this picture on Day 5 and you can see the dark cloud is the baby's cells grouping together already. If you look closely, you can see the baby's face. Ok, I'm just kidding...

The doctor told us the probability of pregnancy was only 30% but I was already attached the second they got me that photo (I'm sorry, but you don't give a woman on hormones a photo and tell her not to get attached!). I am not kidding you I looked at that photo everyday for the first month!

My due date is Oct. 12th...we'll see if I come early like I did with Chick's pregnancy. I am so happy we will still be close by all our friends in D.C. to be able to visit and show off our little one! And Christmas will come soon after the baby arrives so I bet we'll visit family in Utah. I am BEYOND thrilled that we will be moving to Hershey, where there's so many families living close by and such a great environment for our children. Ahhh!!!! I can't believe we are going to have CHILDREN!

Here's a little photo of my 11 week ultrasound I know you can't really see anything....I swear it's not a squirrel, it's our BABY! (Please tell me you think it's cute even though it doesn't really look like a baby yet, lol)

So glad the cat is out of the bag. I'm not even the mommy and I've been wanting to shout it from the roof tops.

You know, if it's a boy...our babies could get married! :-) If not, we're producing another set of college roommates!

I'm pretty sure you need to come to Seattle so I can see you pregnant and you can meet this new little one!

P.S. I've already been pregnant longer with this second one that you were with chick. So not fair. Let's hope you and I both get to have our babies come early!

Totally looks like a baby to me! Yeah another future V3 roomie! (or boyfriend) We're so happy for you and Dan! Can you send me some chocolate when you move to Hershey? For some reason that's all this baby seems to want to eat! Love you! I think the baby is a girl!
