We bought a house and we're moving in....TOMORROW! We're packing the truck today, so this post won't be long.
A little bit about the house:
It's a townhouse (middle unit)
3 Bedrooms
2 1/2 baths
1 Car Garage
1,488 sq ft. (no basement)
Built 2004
Amazing school district
Huge community pool WITH kid pool & park
Community gym & indoor hot tub
2 miles from Hershey Park
10 minutes to Medical Center
Best part...mortgage plus interest is cheaper than our one bedroom apartment we rented in Arlington when we first moved here! (and that's saying a lot cuz that apartment was a steal for Arlington) And that's with us putting zero down on the house! (Disclaimer...taxes does take it higher than our 1 bedroom rent though...) Still awesome.
We won't have internet the first few days so you won't be hearing from me! I will be posting an awesome post when it is up about our amazing friends that threw us a going away party. We are SO SAD to be leaving Arlington! We will miss our friends so much!
Wish us luck with the move and pray that the interior paint colors I picked out turned out well. ; )

That is AWESOME. We'll miss you guys, but how exciting for you! I am jealous of the hot tub, and the pool, and the free gym, and the house in general...
And how the heck did you not have to make a down payment?! Sounds like a great deal. Good luck with the move, and make sure to post pictures of the inside once you're settled:)

Oh yay! I love the house and it sounds like the PERFECT situation for your family now and for Hatcher's residency!! It's incredible how expensive D.C. is. Mike and I are so excited for you guys and we're looking forward to seeing the pictures you post when you have the house painted, I'm sure it's going to be fabulous;)
Congrats! We are building a house and it won't be done till the end of July. I wish I was moving in sooner.

Let me tell you about the taxes here. They are outrageous! I pay more in taxes on out little townhouse than my dad pays for his HUGE house in SLC!
