Where Have We Disappeared To????

We have met a TON of incredible people. I can't go to our community pool without meeting another cute young family. Because of the huge med center it's kindof of a melting pot in Hershey. Our neighbors are incredible; we moved in next to a nurse in the orthopedic dept...so her and Hatcher will be working together! She has two young daughters that love Chick.

Hatcher is doing great in residency. He had a busy first week (he put in 97 hrs!!). This year he is doing general surgery and next year he starts working in the orthopedic department. He's met lots of awesome people. It's been tough transitioning from having him around a lot because end of 4th year med school was so good to us.

I am loving all the perks of being back in suburbia. The highlights of my shopping are Walmart and Hobby Lobby. I can't believe they have Hobby Lobby here. I love this place! And there's a grocery store within walking distance of our house and the selection is amazing. We're just like 5 minutes away from the outlets, so when I start shopping again I'll be in heaven.

I've gotten really big with my pregnancy. During the month of June I totally popped and now I feel H.U.G.E...I had a big growth spurt (not the baby...me). I have no belly pictures to post, but I need to post some soon because I'm going into the no-picture zone of my pregnancy fast. I don't think the jar of peanut butter that I keep next to my computer is helping.

My back is really messed up with this pregnancy. It's been bad for a while, but is progressively getting worse as I get bigger. It's frustrating not being able to move like I want to and play with Chick like I want to...or clean the house like I don't want to....but need to. ; ) I'm almost in my 3rd trimester so not much longer and then things will get back to a more managable level.

My mom came and stayed with us for 2 weeks to help me with getting settled, give me a break and play. It was so nice to have her here to help me clean and play with Chick. She did so much for us around the house. If you need a painter, this woman has skills. She also helped me pick out a few home decorating things so make our place a little more welcoming. I had to post this for her, I bought this kitchen cart on Craigslist in DC before we moved and we started painting it while she was here but didn't get a chance to finish it until now! I'm hoping to someday find some light fuscia or pink towels to go with this...so far no luck...

I didn't think I would ever be able to replace my exercise walk from my Arlington apartment to the Lincoln Memorial, but here there's a 3 mile walk that takes you through corn fields and horse farms. It's sooooo beautiful and peaceful. Today the horses were out and we were playing with them FOREVER. They just walk right up to you and and let you pet them! All I had was my camera phone!

Oh my gosh Andrea, those pictures...that seems like such an ideal area! What kind of horses let you just pet them?? The scenery in the background is beautiful as well. Mike and I miss you guys by the way, we can't wait to see you and your new baby, if only it was sooner:) Julie was telling me your back was giving you some problems, I hope that your third trimester flies by! Love you and can't wait to see more pictures soon!

Oh man, you are a craigslist extraordinaire! The color is genius.

That walk sounds amazing. All three miles gets me is a trip to the creamery...then I have 3 miles back! yeah, haven't attempted that one yet...

I can't wait to see more pictures of you guys. Vanessa seems to have grown, literally, a foot!
