Ballet Class, Swimming, Belly, Uncle, & Cousins!

Chick started a little ballet class at our community center and it was the best day of both of our lives. ; ) She's SO into ballet. She's checked out about 5 different books from the library on ballet and sits and reads them and imitates the different positions and practices they do in the book. It. is. adorable. She was amazing in her class and couldn't have looked cuter in her ballet stuff Grandma bought her when she was here!

During the class the teacher would ask the girls to do a certain position or move and Chick would reply, "I can do that AND I can do this!" and she'd do a different move too. She frequently cut in line during leaps (her favorite part). She didn't really like that the teacher ended with jazz dancing...she very much preferred the ballet! I think I teared up...um....like 5 times during her having the ballet outfit on and during her class. I am so proud of my girl!

Chick has been seeming so grown up to me lately! We've been spending lots of time at the pool and she's really catching onto swimming. We've been working with her and making some progress...but the other day she was sitting on the steps and all the sudden she had swam out to me & Hatcher in the deeper area of the pool...all by herself!

Another ultrasound of the baby at 28 weeks! My placenta is too low, so I get to keep getting ultrasounds and get these little glimpses of our little girl!

Poor Hatcher rarely gets home before dark, but this was a shot when he did get home early enough to play outside...I'm always amazed and grateful that he still has energy to play with Chick!

Here's my belly pic at 29 weeks...and on the right a pic of me at the same point during Chick's pregnancy. I feel huge right now...but at least I'm not as big as my 1st pregnancy! And I'm so grateful to say that I've been feeling so much better these last two days. I guess I shouldn't have said that my doctor was so unrealistic about her plan for dealing with my back pain....laying around most of the day really does make me feel better! And my old back brace is really coming in handy from Chick's pregnancy.

And these pictures of Chick's cousins' visit in June. We went to Hershey Gardens....so fun but a little hot!
I LOVE how Chick's cousins can read her books, and obviously she loves it too!
