4th Birthday!! The Best Ever!!

Photobucket

Chick turned 4 a couple days ago and me & Hatcher threw her first real "kids only" party for her and 8 of her friends. Me & Chick has been working on the party planning for weeks...she decided on doing a "Woody & Jessie" party since a lot of her friends are boys. We made invitations covered in glitter and stars that Chick got to put on herself and hand delivered (that was absolutely her favorite part).

We collected crafts to do from Hobby Lobby, and made sheriff badge necklaces that Chick bedazzled for each kid. She also stuffed goodie bags with Toy Story fruit snacks, army men, and tons of candy for everyone. She also made paper telescopes for each friend to take home and colored pictures for the baggies.

It was SO incredibly fun to plan and prepare with Chick. It was great way to fill our time for a few weeks! I was really sad when it was all over (and very tired after the actual party, lol). We've already started scheming for next year. I think we're going to try to fit even more glitter on the invitations next time. ; )

I had to post these pictures finally since Chick's aunt Tina came to visit last week and I need to post those pictures too! I'm behind!

The kids started out by decorating cowboy/cowgirl hats and coloring fuzzy horse pictures. (They all got a Hershey kiss if they did the crafts...they were all soooo good!)

Our "Pizza Planet" lunch was a little late so Hatcher did an impromptu game time which ended up being SOOOO much fun. Simon Says was the best. The kids loved him!

He would get them all worked up and they'd be bouncing everywhere and then he'd tell them to lay down on the floor. They were adorable.

Chick's favorite color is red, which was perfect for a Jessie party...and I blocked out her name on her huge birthday sign....we had another one on the outside of the house and neighbors kept stopping to say happy birthday.

CUTEST STORY FROM THE PARTY!! We told all the kids to go get the gift they brought for Chick and sit on the couch. They did, and Chick started crying and frantically looking for a gift, "I didn't bring anything! There's not one left for me!" She had no idea that her friends might bring her a present and that the gifts were for her to open....the above smile was after we explained.

Every time she opened something ALL the kids would crowd around to see what it was.

Photobucket
She couldn't have been happier and hugged all her friends. After presents the kids watched Toy Story 2, and I crashed on the couch between taking kids to the restroom! They drank 2 quarts of lemonade between the 9 of them!

She also LOVED and can't stop riding her new bike from Nana & Grandpa Mark!!! I can't believe how grown up she is!
