We got to meet a new member of the Hatch family! My in-laws adopted Logan from the Ukraine since we'd last visited, so spending time with him and getting to know him was fun.

We really soaked up every minute of the vacation since Hatcher started surgery rotation when we got back. Poor Hatcher, he's getting so little sleep! The pressure is on since it's a difficult rotation and he thinks he'd like to do surgery.
Here's our pictures up to Christmas Eve.

After our full day of travel we arrived at the Hatch home and Chick wanted to start shoveling the driveway with Whitney. They even had a miniature shovel for Chick. I have no idea how she had this energy!
There was pretty much a blizzard every day while we were there, I've NEVER seen so much snow! (Chick LOOOOOOOOVES the snow)

We went ice skating with our Hatch family on Christmas Eve (tradition) before going down to Provo for dinner with the Bates side. Chick loved it at first! (Can you believe how cute those little skates are?!)

She wanted Hatcher to carry her (against the rules).
All the kids (my new brother-in-law, Logan, is center)...I still count as a kid, right?

What a cute little girl she is! I loved the picture of her hating the ice skating. The cranky pictures are always my favorites of little kids. It's awesome how even your casual pictures of you and your family are so amazing. I miss you and wish you were still here! Thanks for hanging out with me for that one day. Love you!
What stunning pictures! No pictures of the Bates side? I want more! :) J/K! Thanks for updating! We missed being with your guys over the holidays.
It was so fun to see you guys! I'm not quite sure how I have never heard that the Hatchs adopted a kid. That is news to me...but awesome! I hope you guys get to spend your summer here so we can hang out!
Woah, that is a LOT of snow! All of your pictures belong in magazines. You are so good. I love that one of Vanessa sitting down with her skates turned in. And her hair is so cute on the top ones!
I love your pictures. You absolutely blow me away! I LOVE that you captured the snow falling and her shoveling. It sounds like you had a great time. I'm sad we didn't get to see you (but I understand... Christmas is a crazy time and you have to spend every second you can with family). Merry Christmas!
oh my gosh! Seriously, those pictures (especially the top ones playing in the snow) are amazing. I can't wait to see Nessa, she looks so big! I just always imagine her as a little baby, playing with little Gracie.
Oh, those are so cute! It looks like you guys had so much fun. I'm sorry we didn't see you enough, but luckily we live somewhat close (at least in the same state).
Looks like you all had so much fun in the snow! We are wanting it to snow here. Your photos are all beautiful as always.
cute pictures!!!!
How would it be to be able to document a trip in such a way as you do!?!?! You are so talented!!!
So jealous. I didn't even think to take any pictures in the snow. We never see it here. I avoided my camera and M mode. Go you!
I love all the snow pics!! Vanessa is so cute ice skating! LOL!
